| Nieuwe iPort in-wall oplossingen voor iPod touch en iPad ! Binnenkort komt iPort met twee nieuwe “In Wall” modellen die worden geïntroduceerd tijdens CEDIA in September . Het gaat om de CM-100T voor de iPod Touch en de CM-IW2000 voor de iPad. Bijgevoegd de informatie tot nu toe bekend. De CM-100T zal eerder te leveren zijn als de CM-IW2000. Europese prijzen zijn nog niet bekend, in de US gaat de CM-100T $ 250,- en de CM-IW-2000 $ 499,- dollar verkoop kosten (exclusief iTouch of iPad). | |||||||||||||||||||
| 12.05.2010: | Kaleidescape nu Blu Ray compatibel ! | ||||||||||||||||||
| Met de nieuwe M330 en M500 players is het nu mogelijk om Blu Ray discs te importeren en af te spelen vanaf Kaleidescape servers. Om tegemoet te komen aan de bezwaqren van de filmindustrie dient de af te spelen schij wel fysiek in een M500 player aanwezig te zijn. Om aan deze eis tegemoet te komen wordt binnenkort een bulkloader uitgebracht waarmee ook de disks eenvoudig op harddisk te zetten zijn. Ook aan de overbekende Kaleidescape interface is een aantal verbeteringen aangebracht. AVA zal op 31 mei aanstaande op de open dag uitgebreid de nieuwe spelers aan de dealers voorstellen. CIC , deel van moederbedrijf dB Audio Video Systemen BV, wil zich meer op zijn kerncompetenties gaan richten namelijk ontwerp en realiseren van audio video systemen in de professionele markt. Netstreams ontwerpt en produceert kwalitatief hoogwaardige apparatuur voor multiroom distributie van audio en video, controle van licht-, verwarmings-, klimaat-, en comfortsystemen, intercom etc. over een standaard CAT5 of CAT6 netwerk. OmniSub Line of Entry-Level Powered InRoom Subwoofers
Aims to Set the Value Standard for Powered InRoom Subs in the Custom A/V Channel Portland, OR - February 2, 2010 - Custom manufacturer Triad Speakers, Inc. today introduced three entry-level, powered in-room subwoofers. The Mini, Bronze and Silver OmniSubs are fully-featured, attractive and compact packages that deliver high output with deep bass extension. These new solutions represent Triad's most affordable in-room subwoofers to date, complementing the company's recently introduced comprehensive line of DSP Subs. The compact InRoom Mini OmniSub makes use of a long-excursion 8-inch driver and a 200-watt BASH (Bridged Amplifier Switching Hybrid) amp. The InRoom Bronze OmniSub taps a 10-inch driver and 300-watt BASH amp with the InRoom Silver OmniSub utilizing 12-inch driver and robust 500-watt BASH amp. All OmniSub enclosures are heavily braced and acoustically inert - a trademark of all Triad subs for almost thirty years. According to Triad's Director of Sales and Marketing Paul Scarpelli the company chose BASH amplifier technology because it generates almost no heat, and is extremely efficient, with low energy consumption, even when tasked hard. "The amps provide the sound quality of traditional Class AB amplifiers, but with the efficiency and low heat of Class D amplifiers," says Scarpelli. "The goal of the OmniSub line is to provide Triad dealers with more cost-efficient, yet high-performing powered sub solutions for applications such as bedrooms and smaller living rooms, as well as home theater venues. We are confident that in doing so we will broaden our reach in the marketplace while at the same time setting the standard for performance, features, and value. We believe that dealers will quickly take notice," says Scarpelli. Other notable features include signal-sensing power-on with adjustable sensitivity; user presets (Normal, Music, Cinema, Night); boundary compensation for optimum performance regardless of placement; a simple parametric equalizer; gain and delay adjustments, and both line level and speaker level inputs. | Evôk, producent van spiegeltelevisies heeft nu een nieuwe 19" waterproof televisie uitgebracht die in elke denkbare (RAL) kleur te leveren valt. De televisies zijn ontworpen om in de muur gebouwd te worden, waardoor de voorzijde van de televisie gelijk met het muuroppervlak valt. Uiteraard wordt de televisie uitgeleverd met een waterproof afstandsbediening. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Van 10 t/m 14 december zal Sights and Sounds met een stand aanwezig zijn op de Miljonairfair in Amsterdam. In samenwerking met AVA zal het vermaarde Kaleidescape videosysteem getoond worden op 2 grote Hantarex LCD schermen. Sights and Sounds is al jaren een begrip in Zutphen en wijde omgeving en heeft naast de vestiging in Zutphen vestigingen in Leeuwarden en Doetinchem. Eigenaar Eric Kooistra is enthousiast over de eenvoud en stabiliteit van het Kaleidescape systeem waarmee moeiteloos de gehele CD- en DVD collectie opgeslagen en beheerd kan worden dankzij de unieke (veel gekopieerde) interface. | |||||||||||||||||||

| European Pioneers of Multiroom Entertainment Introduce the Wireless Commander.Armour Home has announced the introduction of the Systemline Wireless Touchscreen, the first wireless control product from the UK based manufacturer. The Systemline Wireless Touchscreen is the result of intensive research and development and a significant investment by Systemline, a company which has notched up over 20 years experience in producing quality innovative solutions for the multiroom market.The wireless Touchscreen is made up of three components. The Touchscreen itself, which is battery operated, suitable for over 4 hours constant use, or days on standby. The device sits snugly in the hand and has a high quality feel to it, with materials on all surfaces being carefully chosen to provide the class look and stylish feel the product deserves. It is available in a gloss white, or a high-gloss black.Hidden inside is the technology that allows it to communicate wirelessly with up 8 zone receivers in order to supply flexibility over which area is being controlled. The technology is based on a known platform, but some ‘tweaks’ have been made by the Systemline R&D team to fully exploit this technology for the multiroom market. The Touchscreen comes supplied with charging base station with a matching finish to the screen and will look at home on any coffee table or sideboard, with or without the Touchscreen docked. The wireless Touchscreen ‘pack’ also comes supplied a Systemline wireless junction box. This device is connected directly to the zone cards in the S6 controller or the Modular speaker allowing communication from multiple wireless screens. These are also available separately should the installer wish to add more zones than controllers.Systemnet, the control software behind Systemline, is located in the wireless Touchscreen so the device works in a very similar fashion to current in wall touchscreens, and is programmed in the same way. It will add a new room selector menu that allows control of more than one zone from the device, for example, the ability to select which ‘zone’ (in reality which wireless receiver), the touchpanel is communicating with at any given time, and therefore offer precise control of that zone. Pressing the ‘R’ room selection hard key at any time will show the user the room currently selected for control. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Being released at the same time as the wireless Touchscreen is the new version of Systemnet, version 12.0, which for the first time includes two way RS-232 control of AV products, starting with the NAD AV receiver range. Systemnet v12 will offer control of source selection, volume control, and built in tuners of the new NAD T Series receivers and the NAD VISO FIVE. This will also extend to control of the DAB module when connected to the NAD T series receiver. Feedback of the volume level and the source selection will come back to the touchscreen via RS-232 and the two way RF protocol. The integration between NAD Systemnet is a very important step in the development of Systemline as this allows seamless integration of the multiroom audio and AV systems in the home. As part of the Systemnet integration plan this integration module a joint cooperation by both the NAD and Systemnet teams. It is also available on any colour Touchscreen, not just the wireless, and is a benefit available to all old Systemline S6 or Modular customers, assuming the cabling topology will allow for this. | |||||||||||||||||||
